My Name is Alison, I have been a professional painter since 1995, working on various jobs and with many different painters. I noticed that there was something missing in the work I was doing for others, and that was the personal touch; the small defining details that make a paint job more than just paint on the walls. I decided to start my own company.

Sonshine Girls painting was born in Nanaimo BC in January 2000. I originally focused on interior repaints and some custom work. I have since expanded to encompass paint work for the Government, through BCBC (British Columbia Building Corporation), custom repaints, exterior work and color consultations. I believe that what keeps me busy, and my customers happy is the one on one touch that I felt was lacking before. I feel that it is worth my time to make your paint job exceed your expectations, to work with you to ensure the colors and the theme you are working with fit the space you are living or working in. My customers are always my main priority, whether it is a small room or an ambulance station, the right color, the right paint and the right team make it all come together.
