This house was originally pink. While the owners weren't
exactly sure which shade of tan they wanted. We painted large patches on the
back of the house of various shades of tan . After the home owners spent a
couple of nights in their back yard looking at the samples they decided on
this shade... it was a good choice and worth the extra effort.

This house started out as pink and soon changed to match the
home owners personal preferences. We have since changed the front door to a
burnt red colour after the vinyl windows were installed as the mustard no
longer looked as good.

This rancher
was situated between two large houses and appeared somewhat lost and little
so we thought having a brighter green on the trim but keeping the body
somewhat neutral helped to "punch it up" enough that it was visible between
the two giants!

The homeowners for this house had consulted with their two children
regarding the colours for this house and once they had it narrowed down I
helped them select the best combination and tone. After speaking with the
homeowners a few weeks later they are very happy with the colour selections
even if they still, at times, don't recognize their home!!

The colourful house – exterior
This house lives on Gabriola Island and the homeowner wanted
something bright that she could see from a distance. She has
few neighbours so she wanted to go wild! She told us
the basic colours she was looking for and then turned us
loose! It was a lot of fun planning and painting this
house! |
